Overview

e will be diving in the cavern area of the cenotes, the cenotes are a natural access to the fragile cave system in the middle of the jungle caused by a roof collapse. Cavern diving is defined as diving in an open area that receives direct sunlight, is no deeper than 40 m meters, and is within 60 linear meters of the cave entrance. There you can see geological formations, light beams, haloclines, hydrogen sulfide clouds, and interesting life such as the "Dama Blanca" a blind fish only found in Yucatan. To dive in the cenotes you don't need a cave diving course, you can dive there with your Open Water diver certification, and a good buoyancy control it's a must. There are cenote dives for all levels, you can check the list below to see which ones you can do. We will be diving in small groups with a maximum of 4 people per Instructor/guide. Requirements: Minimum level of Open Water certification (depending on the cenote) Fill out a responsive and complete de DAN medical questionnaire.
